Clinton, Mo. – (March 7, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that it has purchased a 10,000 square foot building accompanied by 2.3 acres of land to expand its services.
The former Aldi building was chosen for development as it is centrally located across the street from the hospital and is near its home health services. The space will be renovated to include GVMH’s that include: physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, aquatic therapy and worksite testing. In addition, GVMH will utilize the property for its ambulance services to build a garage with attached living quarters for its on-duty staff to help speed response time.
“We are excited about the opportunity to repurpose this building to expand our services and continue to identify ways to better support our patients and employees” said Craig Thompson, chief executive officer at GVMH. “I’m also delighted that we will be upgrading a blighted building that is located near the entrance to our community. We anticipate the development will take approximately one year to complete.”
