Clinton, Mo. – (May 31, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to introduce Liz Elwell, FNP, as a nurse practitioner in the Golden Valley Medical – Windsor walk-in clinic.
In this role, Elwell will be examining patients, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and prescribing medications to treat patient needs.
Elwell studied at the University of Central Missouri and received a Master of Science, family nurse practitioner degree. She also received a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from the same university. Elwell was a registered nurse in outpatient surgery with GVMH while working toward her master’s degree. Most recently, she was a nurse practitioner in the pain clinic at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Mo.
“We are excited to have Liz and her husband, Taylor, both on board in the GVMH network,” said Kayla Simmons, clinic supervisor at Golden Valley Medical – Windsor. “Liz has a great deal of knowledge and experience and will be an asset to the Windsor clinic and community.”
Elwell will begin seeing patients on June 3, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Windsor walk-in clinic. No appointment is necessary.
