Clinton, Mo. – (July 3, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Nicole Brown is the July staff member of the month.
Brown has been an employee of GVMH since September 2005 and works as a billing specialist in the patient accounts department.
Coworkers who nominated Brown had the following to say about her: “Nicole is a super-user in our department. She answers all of our questions as thoroughly as possible. Oftentimes she will be interrupted, multiple times during her own day-to-day tasks, but offers assistance with a smile.”
“Nicole has educated herself about multiple payers and billing issues to make herself as knowledgeable as possible.”
“Nicole is an excellent communicator. Via email or in person, she strives to keep coworkers both in and outside her department informed.”
In addition to being named Staff Member of the Month, Brown was given a flower bouquet, a $100.00 gift certificate and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. Brown is also one of twelve finalists for the 2019-2020 Staff Member of the Year award.
