Clinton, Mo. – (Aug. 16, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce the promotion of Meredith Cooper to clinic administrator for all Golden Valley Medical clinics.
In her new role, Cooper will direct clinic operations at the Golden Valley Medical clinics in Clinton, Osceola, Windsor and Warsaw. She will also be responsible for the assessment of current and future medical services and for managing GVMH specialty outreach services. In addition, Cooper will oversee clinic community involvement.
Cooper has held several positions in the Golden Valley Medical – Clinton clinic over the past 31 years. Her first job was as a “closing girl” while she was in high school. She filed charts and made copies of provider schedules. This led to a medical assistant position with Dr. Carroll Wetzel for 14 years. Most recently, Cooper held the director of operations position for more than a decade, where she was responsible for provider enrollment. “We are delighted to have Meredith as our clinic administrator,” said Kyle Adkins, chief operating officer at GVMH. “We are confident that she will continue to advance our clinics and ensure our patients receive the best care at all our locations.”
