Clinton, Mo. – (Oct. 23, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce the promotion of Earlene Pipes to nursing director of medical/surgical and ICU.
As the nursing director of medical/surgical and ICU, Pipes manages the daily operations and staffing of the medical, surgical and ICU departments. She is responsible for reviewing programs, policies and procedures to improve efficiency for patient and employee satisfaction.
Pipes received her associates degree in nursing from State Fair Community College. She began her employment with GVMH in 2015 as a registered nurse in the medical/surgical department, then became a charge nurse and was most recently a house supervisor.
“We are pleased to have Earlene as the nursing director of medical/surgical and ICU,” said Lynnette Hayes, chief nursing officer at GVMH. “She is an excellent care provider and manager and we are confident that she will be an excellent director for these fundamental patient care departments.
