Clinton, Mo. – (Nov. 29, 2019) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that they received an Aim for Excellence Honorable Mention Award for critical access hospitals and rural hospitals from the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA).
This award recognizes the delivery of improved population health, patient outcomes and experience, and value of care. Recipients of the award have displayed progress toward the Triple Aim — better health, improved care and lower cost. The awards were presented during MHA’s 97th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Osage Beach, Mo.
“Missouri hospitals are making tremendous strides in protecting patients from harm and improving the quality of care,” said Herb B. Kuhn, MHA president and CEO. “This year’s award recipients reflect the diverse approaches being taken to create a more effective health delivery system.”
“We are proud to receive this prestigious award from the Missouri Hospital Association as only 10 hospitals in the state were recognized,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at GVMH. “This acknowledges our dedication to providing high quality care to enrich patient health, improve patient experience and decrease cost.”
