Clinton, Mo. – (Feb. 4, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased announce that Casey McCartney is the February staff member of the month.
McCartney has been an employee of GVMH since January 2017 and currently works as the recruitment coordinator in human resources.
Coworkers who nominated McCartney had the following to say about her: “As the recruiter for our organization, Casey does an excellent job representing GVMH. She collaborates with department leaders and involves GVMH staff in events designed to give students exposure to healthcare careers. She is instrumental in coordinating our annual MASH camp and represents GVMH at school-sponsored career events. Additionally, Casey hosts and attends job recruitment fairs and involves department leaders in the recruitment process.”
“Casey has assisted in the successful recruitment of several new providers. She obtained her national certification in human resources (PHR), recently received a master’s degree and plans to continue her education by pursuing additional national certifications in her field.”

In addition to being named staff member of the month, McCartney received a flower bouquet, a $100 gift certificate and her name will be engraved on a plaque to be permanently displayed in the hospital. McCartney is also one of 12 finalists for the 2019-2020 staff member of the year award.
