Clinton, Mo. – (June 17, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) in Windsor has expanded its building to increase space for its rehabilitation and wellness services, now known as therapy services.
The new space features larger treatment rooms and patient-friendly equipment. The expansion also allows therapists to see more patients at a time and includes a dedicated pediatric rehabilitation area with a sensory swing.
“We are delighted with the additional capacity and enhancements our new space provides,” said Rachel Boyles, executive director of home based and therapy services at GVMH. “Enlarging this area ensures our staff can provide patients the highest-quality of care, while using equipment that meets the individual needs of each patient.” Boyles also stated, “Due to our growth, we are changing our name from rehabilitation and wellness services to therapy services, as it is now a better description of the comprehensive services we provide.”
The rest of the clinic expansion, including additional exam rooms and the new specialty services, will be complete this fall. Patients and visitors are encouraged to follow the signage to the temporary entrance until the full expansion project is complete.
