Clinton, Mo. – (July 6, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has added vascular services to better serve its patients.
GVMH has two vascular surgeons to treat and prevent vascular diseases. The surgeons offer consultations on numerous conditions, such as carotid artery disease, dialysis access procedures, peripheral artery disease, vascular access, vascular noninvasive studies, vascular stents, vascular surgery, vascular ultrasound studies and more.
“These services are extremely important as the vascular system is made up of arteries that carry blood away from the heart and veins that carry blood to the heart. Your cardiovascular system also delivers oxygen, nutrients, hormones and other important substances to cells and organs in the body,” said Savanna Facklam, RN, BSN, MSN, Director of Outpatient and Scheduling Services. “We are delighted to be able to provide these expert resources to our patients so they can receive the specialty care they need, close to home.”
