Clinton, Mo. – (Aug. 7, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is resuming its Alzheimer’s caregiver, cancer, diabetes management, and SHARE pregnancy and infant loss support groups.
The Alzheimer’s caregiver support group is held on the second Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. and is currently meeting via teleconference. The next support group is August 13. Please contact Ranae Walrath at 660.890.7294 or rwalrath@gvmh.org for information on how to join the call.
GVMH will restart its cancer support group August 13 in the GVMH Board Room, located at 1600 N. Second Street. The cancer support group will meet monthly, on the second Thursday at 4 p.m.
In Clinton, the diabetes management support group will be on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the GVMH Board Room. The next meeting is August 13.
In Warsaw, the diabetes management support group will meet on the third Thursday of the month at 9 a.m. in the Warsaw clinic. The next session will be August 27.
The SHARE Pregnancy and Infant Loss support group will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. The next meeting will be August 11. Please contact Kelsey Himes at kelseyhimes22@yahoo.com for information on how to join the meeting.
GVMH will be following COVID-19 safety guidelines for all its in-person meetings. Attendees will be screened upon entry to the buildings for potential COVID-19 symptoms, will be required to wear a face covering and the meeting rooms will be set up to allow social distancing.
