Clinton, Mo. – (Sept. 25, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce new leadership in its Cancer Center, Outpatient Treatment Center and Pulmonary Services Department.
Ken Marek, BS, RRT has been named Director of Pulmonary Services. In this role, Marek will be responsible for implementing and managing the functions of the clinical pulmonary and neurological procedure areas. He will also oversee staffing needs, manage policies and procedures and engage in ongoing quality improvements.
Sara Horner, RN, BSN has been promoted to Manager of the Outpatient Treatment Center. In this position, Horner will be managing the day-to-day operations of the department, including infusion and clinic related activities. She will also act as a clinical resource to staff and provide patient care as needed.
Diana Yearout, RN, has been promoted to Manager of the Cancer Center and will oversee the daily activity of the department. Yearout will also provide supervision to nursing and clerical staff, while assessing all departmental programs for quality.
