Clinton, Mo. – (Dec. 9, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) recently received a Distinguished Service Award from the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA). The award, which is MHA’s highest honor, recognizes staff for the continuity of care provided during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Mike Parson presented the recognition during the 98th annual MHA convention, held virtually in November, and acknowledged hospitals across the state for going above and beyond over the past several months.
“We are honored to be a recipient of the Distinguished Service Award,” said Craig Thompson, CEO at GVMH. “Our dedicated staff have shown an immense amount of compassion, dedication and endurance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and I highly commend each and every one of them on their ability to rise to the occasion during such a challenging time.”
