Clinton, Mo. – (Dec. 14, 2020) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) recently received a COVID-19 Regional Recovery Grant from the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) to assist in its response to the pandemic. The funds will be used to help purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) and COVID-19 testing swabs.
Since March, CFO has distributed more than $3 million to help nonprofit agencies, primarily located in central and southern Missouri, during the pandemic.
Funds will be administered to GVMH through the Truman Lake Community Foundation (TLCF), an affiliate of CFO. TLCF partnered with CFO in 2000 to broaden its resources and focuses on improving quality of life in the Henry county area.
“These funds will greatly aid our organization as we care for COVID and non-COVID patients,” said Craig Thompson, CEO. “Protecting our patients and staff is a top priority.”
