Clinton, Mo. – (April 12, 2021) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) received four out of five stars in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey rating.
The HCAHPS survey is the first national, standardized, publicly reported review of patients’ perspectives of hospital care to measure perception of their hospital experience.
GVMH ranked higher than the national average on seven of ten criteria identified by HCAHPS, including communication from doctors and nurses, responsiveness of staff, education about medication, cleanliness of hospital environment, quietness of hospital, discharge information, care transition, overall hospital rating and willingness to recommend the hospital.
