I felt the calling to pursue a career in medicine my freshman year in high school while taking biology. I had a fascination with the dissections done in our lab section. My interest was confirmed when I took biology 2 my sophomore year. At that point, I decided to dedicate my educational career to getting into medical school and pursuing a career as a physician.
