Lynnette Hayes

Chief Nursing Officer

Lynette Hayes, chief nursing officer at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare. She is highly skilled in all aspects of nursing leadership, nursing processes, patient care and staff development. In her role, she oversees services and staff for the ambulance, birthing center, emergency department, endoscopy, food and nutrition, intensive care unit medical-surgical and surgical services. Hayes has also been instrumental in launching programs at GVMH, such as the first TeleSANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) program in the state of Missouri.

Prior to joining GVMH, Hayes was employed with HCA Healthcare as the associate chief nursing officer at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point, providing executive leadership for more than 200 employees. Hayes has also been a senior clinical consultant at Cerner Corporation, where she provided operational and clinical leadership for a 4.5 million dollar footprint project.

Hayes earned a bachelor’s in nursing degree from Avila University and holds a master’s in nursing leadership degree from the Research College of Nursing where she received the Dean’s Award, the highest academic achievement in the masters of nursing program. In addition, she has a certification in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). Hayes is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
